How Worldsnipes Happened
Alright, so here’s the deal. We’re Worldsnipes. There’s not really a fancy story behind the name. We were sitting around, tossing out ideas, and someone said “Worldsnipes” and it just stuck. No deep meaning, no branding agency, just a random name that sounded good at the time.
Who We Are
We’re just a group of friends. Some of us have known each other since school, others joined along the way. We all have different jobs and backgrounds—one of us works in IT, another is a teacher, someone else is still figuring things out. But we all like sharing weird facts, stories, and things we stumble across online or in real life.
Why We Started This Blog
This blog started because we were always sending each other links and random thoughts in our group chat. One day, someone said, “Why don’t we just put this stuff online?” So we did. There was no plan. We didn’t even know how to set up a website at first. The first version of Worldsnipes was a mess—broken links, ugly colors, and way too many spelling mistakes. We still laugh about it.
What You’ll Find Here
We don’t have a posting schedule. Sometimes we go weeks without adding anything new, and then suddenly we’ll post three things in a day because we’re all excited about something. We write about whatever we feel like—travel, tech, food, random life stuff, or just things that make us laugh. There’s no theme. If you’re looking for a blog that’s super organized and professional, this probably isn’t it.
We’re Not Experts
We’re not experts. We get things wrong. Sometimes we change our minds. If you spot a mistake, let us know. If you disagree with something, that’s cool too. We’re just here to share and maybe connect with a few people who like the same kind of random stuff we do.
Real Life, Real People
Outside of the blog, we’re just regular people. We have jobs, families, and all the usual ups and downs. Sometimes we write posts late at night after a long day, sometimes we write them on our phones while waiting for a bus. There’s no system. We just do what we can, when we can.
